This sign was seen at the Hunter Valley region North of Sydney. Some people have a great sense of humor and know how to use it to make a point. And just in case you are wondering, I checked about the 1000MPH spin rate for the Earth and it is correct if measured at the equator (source.)

The next hilarious advertising billboard comes from our friend Spns and Japan circa 2005. The photo was taken at the JR Harajuku Station in Tokyo.

This is an advertising billboard in Sydney near the Broadway shopping center. Obviously, the product works! (Click the photo for a larger view.)
PS: I added the red arrow in the photo to point out the smaller detail that makes this advertisement funny.

I was waiting for the bus one morning and I noticed the following posted at the bus stop. It says, “Please take one.”
So, I moved closer to see what the offer was. And the little coupons hanging at the bottom were the following.
It says, “This coupon entitles you to: One free day to do anything you want. What will it be?”
So,I took one and then I went to the park to relax and enjoy that day’s brilliant sunshine.

Welcome to my new blog documenting interesting, weird, and most of all funny signs found throughout Australia and the rest of the world. It is amazing how creative people can be at times. Having lived in Sydney for only 2 months, I have been amazed at the hilarious and creative signs and posters that can be found spread all over the city.
So, I decided to start a blog to post photos of these signs. I am always looking out for such creative signs, posters, and why not advertising billboards. If you happen to come across one of those yourslef whether you live in Sydney, another Australian city or anywhere else in the world, snap a photo and send it to me. I will be more than happy to put it up for the rest of the world to enjoy it!
